After working hard for ten long years in Bollywood, Divya was finally recognized and appreciated for her work in Veer-Zaara. She was nominated for a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award, 2004 for her performance in Veer-Zaara. She only won one award for her memorable role: Zee Cine Award Best Actor in a Supporting Role- Female.She has also appeared in the video of "Romeo" by Basement Jaxx.
