While shooting at Krabi island, Thailand, Kareena found a few of her gowns a bit too loose and the producer had to especially call for a fashion designer
from Bangkok to alter them. The incident in question happened on the sets of Main Aur Mrs Khanna, produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sohail Khan and directed by Prem Soni.
The producers had to pay Rs 2 lakh in order to get a fashion designer from Bangkok for Kareena. The actress’ gowns were designed by Manish Malhotra.
A source from the unit said, “The to-and-fro flight tickets for the designer from Bangkok to Krabi cost Rs 1 lakh. The fashion designer who was called to alter the gowns charged Rs 1 lakh for his services.”
Explaining what exactly happened, the source said, “Kareena was shooting with Salman Khan. She had to wade through water in a few shots while wearing one of the gowns. When she wore it, she felt that it was too long and loose.”
