Shah Rukh Khan may not be a master in Taekwondo, but the South Korean embassy in Mumbai still gave the Bollywood big shot a black belt in the martial art form, along with another special honor for his work as ambassador in culture and tourism.
"The Korean government has decided to confer an honorary belt in taekwondo to Shahrukh and they are also giving him the title of an honorary ambassador for culture and tourism," Shahrukh's spokesperson told reporters on Wednesday.
The honorary black belt in Taekwondo will be the second international honor for SRK this year. In July, he received an honorary doctorate in arts and culture by Bedfordshire University in London for his contribution to art and cinema. Late last year, he also received the honorary titleof 'Datuk' from the Malaysian government.
